Sir William Bentley Billiards restores, designs and makes the world’s most beautiful tables. The skilled craftsmen in our workshops in rural England have established a tradition for excellence; excellence both as table makers and as restorers and renovators of antiques. Our showroom is in the beautiful countryside on the border of Berkshire & Wiltshire provide elegant surroundings in which to view our ever-changing display of tables. We have many antique, vintage and contemporary tables currently in stock. Here you’ll find rosewood, intricate burr woods, figured and flamed mahogany and quarter-sawn oak tables, many with finely carved and inlaid details. Visitors are welcome by appointment. We have some truly beautiful and unique antique tables from great table makers of the 19th and 20th century.

Alongside these antiques are our unique precision-engineered dual-purpose tables, in either rollover or wind-up versions (both manually or electronically operated). These are tailor-made to individual customer requirements. The size, design, wood, stain, finish and cloth are all yours to choose.

Our extensive range of antique and reproduction accessories includes cabinets, scoreboards, markers, fine cue racks, balls and ball boxes, cues and rests. We are proud of our specially designed and extensive range of handcrafted lights and offer a wide selection of traditional and contemporary chairs suit all tastes. Billiard room furniture and panelling, together with memorabilia, pictures and photographs are here to compliment your room.

Worldwide Delivery

Our tables are installed in homes, hotels and bars all over the world. Wherever you are in the world, we can make sure you not only get the table you want, but that it is installed and setup, ready for play.

Whenever possible, our experienced fitters will drive the table to its destination and liaise with you or your representative to ensure that they can install the table precisely where you want it, mark it up for your chosen game and ensure your complete satisfaction.

Every table is made crafted in multiple sections, taking into consideration any access restrictions of the desired location. Typically, it will require two fitters to assemble and install a table, although in some locations, and for some larger tables we might need 3 or 4. In every case, the table will be installed with the utmost care and attention to detail. In order to ensure a flawless installation it is essential that each client, or their representative is available to advise the team on the exact location of the table, its orientation and any detail requirements, such as line marking etc. It is also the responsibility of the client to fully inspect the table to ensure that it is undamaged, and that they are completely happy with the installation.

We have driven tables to many European destinations, and yet there are also many of our clients in countries to far for us to drive to. In these cases we construct purpose-built shipping crates for the table, accessories and lighting, to ensure the table arrives in perfect condition – ready to be assembled and installed.

The crates can be collected form our workshops by your chosen shipping company, or we can arrange shipment, using one of a number of International freight forwarders that we have worked with over the years. We will then fly one or more of our fitters to meet the delivered crate and to install the table. Alternatively, we can supply specific instructions for a table if you have access to competent local installers.

We export to a growing list of countries, on every continent – and we’re always excited at the prospect of one of our unique tables finding a home in a new country.
